You had kept me inside you, safe and protected for the nine long months, suffered and went through all the pains, mood swings, nausea and health issues. All during this time you never knew how would I be on this earth, how would I look, no idea about anything; but still you gave all your love and care, struggled, prayed only for me to be born healthy. After the long 9 months when you first held me in your hands, what you only knew was me being all yours. Mom its you who gifted me the precious gift called 'LIFE'. The actual battle started then, you had to do everything to take care of me, even if it was at the cost of your life by starving, sleepless nights, looking like a round balloon, in all this you choose me first.
You saw my first smile, heard me cry for the first time, seen me crawl and walk my first step. You were with me when I first stepped to my school with the water bottle hanging around my neck and a small bag on my back, surprised to see so many other kids there whom I thought never existed on this planet. You were there when I came home hungry, waiting to be fed by your hands. You comforted me when I cried for small things in life, you prayed and were always there besides me checking the temperature when I was down with fever. You were there to guide my steps to the right path, make me a good person, teach me values of life. No matter whether the world stood with me or against me, you never let my hand go off yours. Even in the most difficult times of life, you still loved, cared, prayed and always blessed me to get the best from life.
We all grow to become something in life, but remember never leave your mom alone. She has gone through everything just to give you the best. If ever you want to do something for her in return then just take care of her as she did when you were a baby, give them your time from your so called busy life. Parents are the only angels in our life and no one can replace that. Always love and respect your parents as well as others, cause they too are someone's angels.
